Fly-Ins

Turweston is host venue to a number of fly-ins throughout the year, including several Vintage Aircraft Club rallies.

We are sometimes fortunate enough to have impromptu fly-pasts too - have a look at this video and be sure to have the volume turned up to capture the sound of that Merlin engine!

The ex-British Airways Pilots pay us a visit every year, gathering in the café to have lunch and catch up with one another, and several other small club fly-ins take place.

If you would like to organise a fly-in at Turweston please contact Tanya Coles on 01280 705400 or email.

The next Vintage Aircraft Club Fly-In is on

Saturday 23rd September

Charity Events, Corporate Entertainment,  Education

We get involved in lots of different events, from Corporate Days to Camping Weekends.

At Turweston we are keen on supporting education from a young age and welcome the opportunity to get involved with local schools.

We were honoured to be the host venue for the Dreamflight pre-trip meeting in 2015 & 2016. Click on the link to see what this amazing charity does for deserving children. More recently we have also been involved with fly2help (http://www.fly2help.org/) whose mission is to inspire change in people's lives through the wonder of flight.

Car Club Meets

Turweston Aerodrome is a great venue for static car club meets. We have ample parking space on hard-standing, easy access from the M40 and M1 and a great background for photographs. The vehicle parking/display area is close to the cafe and offers a great view of the runway. Please contact Tanya Coles to discuss arrangements for a club meet.
